dp and i now understand what it's like to be a dual income household. it's insane- from work we are running to volunteer roles, work meetings, looking at homes, meetings with our home-buying people, life group... to name several. dinner? geez... time for one another? that takes juggling. friends? where do they fit in? and self-care? haha... the good news is that we anticipated this all and are understanding that much is going on simultaneously but this won't always be the case.
if you missed it earlier... dp and i are actively seeking to purchase a home! we will share when we find "the" home that has been waiting for us. this journey (though short so far) is quite an experience. much of our convo is focused on our search and hopes for a particular home. luckily we are on the same page with everything- what it should look like inside and outside, price range, street, etc.
we value our time together and social time amidst all this busyness.
