happiness

dp and i are in a happy place right now... it seems as though things are just falling into place. we are so so thankful for our family. the other day dp was praying and said, "thank you God that we have family that call us and WANT to speak to us," hehe. i thought that was funny but the contrary can easily happen. we are also thankful for our wonderful friends who we can just be ourselves with, no judgment, have fun, and just be. i love it. to not have to try too hard with and can expose my deep thoughts and heart with... geez, what more can one ask for? this past weekend we went to lake arrowhead to spend some quality time with friends like these. thanks for the invite jk and ira. dp and i are also growing a lot in our marriage. we are learning the beauty of encouragement and building on one anothers' strengths and trusting in it. i am amazed that we are becoming more like one another- me: more task-oriented at home and complying to updating our budget and him: talking about our dreams and what we want in our lives. it's a beautiful balance and i'm glad we're getting there so early in our lives.
