i find that picking a title is not easy...so therefore "doing dandy" will have to suffice.
this past week was my first week of working night shifts (with two days working morning shifts). so far, it was okay. when i had to work until 11pm my body was like "what are you doing to me?!" hehe. i won't truly get a feel for nights until maybe in 2 weeks since this coming week i have a changed schedule as well since i am taking time off for friends' wedding. anyways, most of the days went smooth. it is clear to me that i am meant to be in this position though much of me wants to peace out and seek a more comfortable job. there have been so many greatness and blessings already. i would go into it but i don't feel like it right now.
the news about dp is still hush so i'll share more when it comes into fruition. stay tuned!!
daniel and i are doing well. we went to a Leann Rimes concert on the green the other weekend... visited a winery... walks on the beach... and our regular church commitments. next weekend our friends are having a cultural get together, hehe. we are bringing dishes from all over the world for dinner. other than the aforementioned, the weather here in san diego is FINALLY feeling and looking like summer... it just took a few months to get there!
we're keeping you all in our prayers. if you have a prayer request, please do let us know. love to you all.
Greetings lovely family and friends. We thought it'd be best to keep a blog of our journey together. We are glad you are here. Our hope is that this helps us share more of our lives with each one of you. We are thankful for you in our lives.

transitions, but it feels the same...
What is new with us? It seems as though we are at a stage of transition and changes, but yet everything seems the same... quite an interesting occurrence. What I mean is, I am in my 5th day of work/training today and tonight will be my first evening of work (3-9pm). I am interested to see when I do a full week of my regular hours (all ranging from 3-11, 12-9, etc.) and how I'll like/dislike it. I'm sort of anxious because 1- I don't know how productive and effective I can be in the evening with the clients, 2- daniel and I spend less time together, and 3- less socializing for me during the weekend/evenings :( OR, maybe I'll absolutely love it! As for today, I didn't feel as though I wasn't that productive awaiting my work start time, soo... who knows. I did explore other job opportunities (the ONE that they did have that's the closest to my edu/experience...)
I won't disclose now because it is too soon but there may be a transition change in dp's life soon!! Will keep you updated.
These past weekends have been really nice. Preparing for our future weekends together (less time because I work), we have been trying our best to spend quality time together. This past weekend we strolled on the beach, watched a movie, visited a winery with another couple, volunteering for the youth ministry, and are learning more about God together. We are overall very dandy and acknowledged our 5 years of knowing one another on August 6th! WOW, we're both amazed that we are still in love, hehe.
Other than that, dp is stepping out of his comfort zone and offered his time to the youth ministry without me (since I work those evenings). This is huge and I am so proud of him! Our Mondays life group bible study is flourishing and we are thankful for the friends that join us.
